RIVETS

OPEN & CLOSED END RIVETS

  • Design of the stem head ensures positive retention after installation
  • Wide range of diameters.
  • Wide range of lengths suitable for material thicknesses up to 26mm.
  • Countersunk (120°) heads available.
  • Break-head mandrels available in most sizes.
  • Blind hole, one-sided installation capability.

STRUCTUAL

  • Structural breakstem rivet.
  • Retained stem.
  • Blind hole, one-sided installation capability.
  • Exceptional shear and tensile strength.
  • Large blind side bearing area against the rear sheet.
  • Interference lock formed by a splined stem.
  • Spreads the tail bearing/clamp load on the rear sheet.
  • Ideal for thin sheet materials.
  • Provides strong, vibration resistant joints.
  • No damage, electrical problems, or rattling due to loose stems.

SPEED FASTENING

  • Can be used in very thin sheet materials from 0.25mm (0.01″).
  • Blind hole, one-sided installation capability.
  • Double diameter body and lead-in chamfer provide easy insertion into hole.
  • Provide a female thread-in application.
  • Clamps two or more sheets of material together, within the grip range.
  • Low-profile version allows near-flush fit to application.
  • Large-flange version provides greater load-bearing surface. Reinforces hole to prevent push out.
  • Large-flange version can be used as a spacer and can be supplied with an underhead seal.
  • For hard metric hole sizes.
  • Assembly applications include automotive, electrical engineering, electronic components, sheet metal, domestic appliances, and general light fabrication.

SELF PIERCING

  • 100% servo-electric drive ensures highest level of process control and repeatability.
  • Large selection of C-frame sizes and configurations to meet application requirements.
  • Tools can be robot-carried or pedestal-mounted.
  • Cycle times are similar to spot welding.
